Marwan-Marios Arab

Marwan graduated as an Engineer in Computer and Communications. He worked for 10 years in IT, mostly in the Oil & Gas industry. Starting as a software engineer his career evolved into Business Process Management. He left the safety of corporate employment in Mar 2015 to follow his passion of starting his own consulting company in R&D and Artificial Intelligence. In 2016 he earned an EMBA degree from the EuroMBA program.
He is a technology leader with many successful implementations under his belt. He was a member of one of the world’s best BPM Centres of Excellence inside the world’s largest LNG producer. There he worked with, and learned from, a team of international experts. Since then, he has worked in numerous multinational, fast-moving environments, where a lot of value can be created by tapping into the ingenuity and diversity of people. He participated and led the BPM process lifecycle for numerous processes in the areas of Joint Venture Accounting, Hydrocarbon Cost Allocation, Environmental Operations and Reporting, HR, IT, Plant Maintenance, Engineering Change Management, and Project Management, among others.
He is a person who is never content with the status quo, always on the lookout for new ways of doing the same old things, but also sometimes questioning why we do certain things at all. He is a good listener, fast learner, and one of his great sources of joy is to come to see the world through the eyes of another person. He found this to be extremely helpful in the past and noticed that people usually respond quite well to being understood. It certainly made implementing organisational change a lot easier and more fun for all.
Marwan likes to travel off the beaten path and meet local communities.
